Well, I am back in Virginia after a great time at the GAL convention and a tour of the Canadian Rockies. Here are a few photographs I took at the convention of people and items that I thought were just cool. In addition, there was a touching tribute to a great classical maker, Manuel Velazquez who has been building instruments since the 1940's. Robert Ruck and Jeffrey Elliott made the presentation but the best part was that it was done in the presence of his son, Alfredo, an accomplished guitar maker in his own right. Bravo the GAL for honoring this legend!
