Mediterranean "Angel" 12 String

This is an absolutely gorgeous large bodied 12 string guitar! Made with a bearclaw sitka spruce top and straight grained brazilian rosewood, the materials are absolutely the best of the best! The inlaid "Angel" in the ebony headstock defines the intent and purpose of this wonderful guitar. Its' angelic high treble sound is welcome to the ears. The brazilian rosewood back and sides make the bass tones rich and deep so they are not overwhelmed by the crystal treble response. The headstock overlay, fretboard and bridge are ebony. The "tree of life" inlay is composed of both mother of pearl and the finest solid abalone shell. The neck is 5 ply (mahogany, maple, rosewood, maple, mahogany) for increased stiffness and stability given the extra tension on the 12 string neck. The fretwork is semi-hemispherical for comfort and extreme playability. As usual on my guitars, the truss rod is hidden from sight but fully adjustable through the soundhole. The tuners are gold Gotoh minis. My thanks to Bozo Podunavac for sharing his exquisite bracing pattern for the 12 string guitar! It really did make a huge difference!

Here is the latest creation as of July 2005. My take on a very fancy 12 string guitar.
