This guitar is the first of a new model instrument. It is designed for the female player. It has a 24.9" scale which joins the body at the 12th fret, making the neck much easier to play. This particular instrument has a sitka spruce top and very straight grained brazilian rosewood back and sides. All binding of the body, neck, and headstock are made of the same brazilian used for the back and sides. The soundhole is trimmed in rosewood to seal the end grain of the soundhole helping to stabilize the guitar's moisture content no matter where it resides (it also make the soundhole look bigger, contributing to the overall design look). Abalone and pearl flowers decorate the ebony fingerboard and pearl inlay outlines the top, soundhole and back center line.
