Dulfer Guitar

This guitar was built for Jim Dulfer, a collector and very good guitar player in Florida. He specified a very heavily bearclawed sitka spruce top with a very unusual rosette made by Tom Ellis. The back and sides are some of the most beautiful quilted maple I have ever come across. The neck is 5 ply quilted maple. Headstock overlay, fretboard and bridge are ebony. It is heavily ornamented in abalone shell including Jim’s initials on the headstock. A special thanks to Jim Dulfer for taking these photos and allowing me to post them for everyone to enjoy!
